Help with my new JG BAR 10
« on: June 19, 2008, 09:05:26 AM »
Okay so here's my problem

I FINALLY got my gun in the mail, and was completely excited. I assembled everything and was really excited. So I go to put the sniper mount on the top and it wasnt working. I coulf get one screw put in, but no matter what I tried I couldnt get the second one in. So after an hour I realized the holes used for screwing on the rail system weren't the correct distance apart!

Has anyone else had this problem, or am I just a lucky  guy? and I would imagine there's not much I can do, so i should just exchange it.

I haven't heard of that problem...  On ours it fit on just fine.  I'd say try to exchange it if you got it locally. Its not worth paying shipping fees when you could always just  drill another hole in it yourself.

Sniper mount? As in for a scope? You don't need a scope. Your gun won't shoot that far, and there is no point in seeing what you can't hit.

Jeez Eric, you seem to have no luck with your guns. :)
Well, I've heard of this problem a lot on Airsoftgi user reviews on the gun.
Check this out, and see if you can find anyone with the same problem.

On mine, I could only get the screws to fit in the inner two holes of the rail mount. You wont be able to screw in all 4 screws unless you drill out and tap the outer two holes.

Trust me it does shoot that far, after full upgrades, a BAR-10 will shoot out to 250-300 feet. You can use the scope to find enemy players as well.
