Laser Aim
« on: September 08, 2008, 06:32:44 PM »
Alrite so I just got my new gun today for my bday. It comes with a few extras (hi-cap, laser aim, flashlight) which my Dad installed. He just got the aim installed and zeroed in. Now I know they aren't real great but its means a lot to my dad. The laser aim is on the side rail and has a little cord dangling from it with the switch at the end. Could anyone gimme an idea of what to do with it? I don't wanna have it just dangling there. Thanks

The idea is to attach it to something for quick activation. Try attaching it in some manner(if it came with velcro or whatever) to a handguard, forgrip, or the magazine well of the rifle.

Tape will work, however i suggest NOT using superglue. When it comes time that you want to remove it, you won't be able to get it off.

Whatever you feel works best. If you have electrical tape, I would suggest that over duct-tape.

You can buy the back gummed (sticky back) velcro at any cloth store/wal-mart, it's cheap and sticks well...go for the "industrial" stuff. You can also use zip-ties, but then you run the risk of being labeled "dumb-ass with the zip ties"
