I need help choosing a gun
« on: February 20, 2009, 01:19:00 AM »
Okay guys I need help choosing a new gun.

My three choices are the A&K SR-25, the Echo 1 Zombat Striker, or the G&G GR-16 A3

I need some opinions and suggestions between these three. I'm going to upgrade the gearboxes to Systema parts no matter what gun I get.

Thanks!

If it had to be one of those three, I'd say the G&G.

I really just want an aeg not a gbb from the selection above, although if I had $650.00 I would take that Western Arms gun in a second lol :D I think im going to go with the G&G, I like the cycle rate. And I want a decent medium rangs aeg in that price range so yeah I think im going to G&G and buying the GR-16 A3 Unless someone thinks otherwise :-k

I found the defender that your talking about, what are the advantages of the 8mm gearbox? lol idk whats up with that site but it says it's a gbb #-o  that has western arms internals, I know that western arms has a gbb m4 that is pretty nice but I don't want a gbb and like I said before I don't have 500-600 extra bucks for an airsoft gun. but from what i se in this vid it sounds like a really smooooooth gearbox, almost like a systema! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VaCMs4DLpM&eurl=http://video.google.com/videosearch?hl=en&rls=GWYA,GWYA:2009-07,GWYA:en&ei=0Y6fScCTHpm0sQOU-cjLCQ&resnum&feature=player_embedded

G&P gearboxes are excellent, they really don't require upgrades you may even want to down grade them if you plan on taking it to CQBAZ.

+1 for G&P, but I will always recommend buying an ECHO 1
