CA 33E Hop-up problem
« on: February 01, 2009, 09:10:28 PM »
I just got my CA 33E rifle in last week and i took it out to SASCO today to test fire it and there was a big problem. When i ordered my gun i also ordered a Systema G3 tightbore inner barrel and installed that right away. When i fired my gun, no matter what i adjusted my hop-up to, it went about 40ft before taking a straight dive down into the dirt. I took out the barrel and re-installed it to make sure i didn't screw that up but the same thing happened. Next i put the original barrel back in and fired and no change, re-installed it but that didn't work. No matter what i did, the BB's took a dive at about 40ft. I dont know what else to do, any ideas would be much appreciated!

sounds like the hop-up might not be in right.

Make sure the grove in the hopup bucking slips into the grove on the barrel.
