I wasn't being an ass, just merely pointing out that you're way out of your lane on this topic, have no personal experience with either caliber in a life-or-death situation, and have seen/read too many fictitious accounts of events to make your argument that "9mm sucks" a valid one.

Look man, I'm not sayin' that isn't a good pistol, or that the 9mm is a terrible round, in fact its way more accurate than a .45 (and way $$cheaper), when i said it sucks, i meant in terms of leathality in comparison with the .45 ACP. Now if hes going plinking or doing some recreational or even competition shooting, the 9mm can put the .45 to shame, but when lookin for pure leathality, and the best defensive cartridge, I'd go for the .45. So thats all i was trying' to say man, so I'm sorry, or whatever it is you want to hear, and i dont think we need any further argument on this, because eventually it willlead to  ](*,)  and well, running into walls isn't really my thing, ya know?

The .45 is very accurate, and actually better for competitive shooting. (in the IPSC world where more points are assigned to the .40's and up) .45>9mmpussyround

The best caliber/gun is what you have available to you if/when needed.  Hell a .22lr is better than nothing.  (albeit not by very much)
