Rem. 700 HB BDL SA
« on: March 25, 2009, 01:06:58 PM »
I am looking for a stock for my Remington heavy barrel BDL short action rifle.

This is where I keep on coming back to:

http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?p ... ber=273579

Although this one is 1/3 the price:

http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?p ... ber=833383

Now I have heard really good thing about Knoxx, but I dont really think it necessary for a .22-250:

My original stock is fine, actually its better than fine its damn sexy.  Not a scratch or ding on it, and I want to keep it that way.  I really dont 'need' the tactical look or solution, I just want something that I wont care if it gets bruised alittle but still be able to allow me to poke holes in prairie dogs and antelope.

I believe Knoxx was purchased by Blackhawk not to long ago, so you might check their site (Blackhawk) for more options.
I know for shotgun they have a version that is a lot cheaper and doesn't have the recoil reduction in it.

Does anyone know if a 6.5 Creedmoor will work in a short action?
