« on: September 05, 2009, 12:17:44 AM »
My dad gave me some Gascans from about 2-3 years back. Im wondering if all oakley lenses are ANSI Z87.1 impact rated. Thanks in advance

yes. They may fracture but they will not fail, so don't go testing them before you wear them.

Every single pair of Oakleys exceed the Z87.1 standard.

It's all I wear for protection while shooting, airballin, or any other time I need eyepro.  I wear M frames with a clear lens at work as safety glasses.

In case you didn't know, you can also get replacement lenses for the Gascan.  They come in most colors, but I don't think they have clear yet.
