so hott.
« on: September 02, 2009, 08:35:41 PM »
Hey,
My brother is a computer illiterate, so i am posting this for him. He bought a CYMA AK47 online, and the website (evike i think) showed the gun's fps as like 270ish w/ .2 . We went o Cqb AZ the other day, and the crono showed it nearly 400 w/ .2. I don't doubt the accuracy of the crono, but is there any explanation for fps deviation? If not, cn someone give me some info on velocity reducer?
Thanks for everything =)

Yeah, because evike has their head so far up their backside they couldn't actually see the chrono.  Outside of TM, you aren't going to find an new AEG's shooting under 300.  The majority of the clones are over 400fps.  Most of the Cyma AK's I've seen around are between 350fps and 400fps, depending on model.

Replace the spring with a lower one? Probably be a good representation of a real AK47u's fps as well as reducing velocity.
