Free BIG Game at MTT UAC Oct 17

Sponsors of Confrontation '09 will be hosting a free day of airsoft games at Marauders Tactical Training Urban Assault Course.  

Join MTT and our sponsors on Saturday Oct 17 from 9 am - 4 pm for a variety of airsoft missions and games.  Missions will include:

Team Elimination
Attack and Defend
Capture the Objective
Zombie Game

Directions and schedule will be emailed to registered players on Oct 15.

Equipment Requirements
Sealed Eye Protection
Military Uniform (any pattern)
Airsoft weapons < 375 FPS with .25 bb's (any weight of bb can be used during games)

Admission
Open Games are open to players 14 and up.

If Anyone in or near Gilbert is going I really need a ride, I can meet in another town/city other than Gilbert if needed, but I will not be able to get all the way out there on my own. I was planning on taking a mini cooler (if Marauders is okay with it) and i can supply you with water.

Player count for the free Open Games at the Urban Assault Course is at 20.

Is a PMC-style loadout fine? (lapg tac-pants, plate carrier, t-shirt etc...)?

Or does it have to have a camo-pattern base?

I will email you when we get a final headcount (names, ages, and camo patterns), but so far we're looking like 11 from mile high so far.

Do we have to have new MTT waivers? or are the ones from last year okay?

PMC load outs are fine.  We are trying to avoid the jeans and t-shirt look for the game.

Waivers are kept on file for one year so those who attended an completed the waivers last time should not need a new waiver.

Our last big game had close to 70 players.  We are definately hoping to top the last event.  

We are also trying to get some of our sponsors for Confrontation '09 out to this game.  More info to come next week.

Game registration is currently at 41 players.  Directions and event info will be emailed out to registered participants on Thursday, Oct. 15.

To register send your name, age, and uniform pattern to MTTStaff@gmail.com

MTT will have a variety of airsoft gear and accessories for sale at the event.  There will also be promotional items available from the sponsors of Confrontation '09.

Registration for the Big Game will close at 8 pm on Thursday night.  No waivers or directions will be emailed out on Friday or Saturday morning.

Registration is currently at 43 with another 10 -15 possible.

Final call for registration is tonight at 8 pm.

There are 60 players registered as of 1 pm today.

Emails with directions and waivers have been sent out.  Please save us time by bringing a completed waiver to the event.

There will be two chronos available to process players.  Chrono will open at 8:30 am.  Remember that the limit is 375 FPS with. 25 bb's for any airsoft weapon.  

Don't forget the sealed eye protection.  Rental masks will be available for $5 for the day for those who don't have or forget their eye protection.  Mouth protection is highly recommended for the MTT Urban Assault Course.

The first safety briefing will take place at 9 am with games to follow at 9:15.  

The next safety briefing will be conducted at 10 am.

Make sure to bring plenty of water and your own shade.  It will be hot.  Due to the large number of players the staging area "shade" will be reserved for MTT Annual Pass Owners.  

Our sponsors for Confrontation '09 will have a number of freebies and discounts available for attendees.  There will also be a raffle for some prizes.  Tickets will be $2 each or three for $5.

Thanks to everyone who braved the heat and came out to the game today.  We had 35 players join us for a number of different airsoft games at the Urban Assault Course.  Our staff would like to thank everyone for playing safely and making the games fun.  

Some photos of the event will be sent out in the MTT Newsletter tomorrow.  If you aren't on the newsletter distribution list, send and email to MTTStaff@gmail.com

The next MTT event will be RE: Armageddon at Fighter Town on Oct 24.  There are still at least 6 spaces available for the zombie game on Saturday.  Rules will be emailed out on Wednesday.
