HFC is not a high quality airsoft gun manufacturer.  They are among the better low-end springers, and often times have features that appeal to newbies like open-breach, heavy weight, and working safeties.  CAG D Boy had a HFC P8 (incorrectly referred to as a USP by airsofters), and it has many metal parts (most of consisting of lead weights inside to make it heavier[B)]), is pretty solid, and lasted forever.  It was still a POS compared to any decent GBB out there!

For what you paid (HFC are dirt cheap, or should be), you will get your moneys worth for a springer.

But for the cost of those 2, you could have a KJW M9!

Hey Sargent thats good news you must have wriiten some of the Newbie documents on this board, they state the same thing.

 But I can't see paying near $100 for a spring gun made by TM, Maruzen, Tanaka or WA its still a spring gun. Though nicely attired. I think springers like the HFC or UHC are nice kick around slow ponit of aim and point shooting guns. Where one learn to draw and fire from the hip or arms length, before going to a two hand sighted fire or aim/cock and fire if its a springer. I paid 18.99 and 19.98 for the USP and 1911 commander on Air soft Shogun s/h was 8.50.

A KJW cheap will cost you $40 more, I admitt you would have a better gun, until you run out of gas.

Springers have some advantage, long lasting is one.

I have a UHC 1911 and its not bad but if ur gonna carry it as a sidearm in wars i would reccomend a higher end brand spinger, and azsarge the p8 is a special variant of a USP in a 9mm so calling them a USP doesnt its necessarily incorrect.
