Bro,
Many years ago(ok maybe about 7 or 8 ) I was in your position.. I was your age and wanted to play airsoft. Of course my parents said no, my mother being the $%^$^ she was(i understand now why she was that way). So I eased my parents into it after they met some nice peoples such as Mark Anderson who now runs the MTT stuff.. He was putting on some cool young games back then. I got my first AEG and went to some "unofficial" games as they were called back then. I was hooked and loved it, about a year and a half later, when I was barely 16 I got the chance to go to a national Op, Lion Claws IV, and I was lucky enough that Airsofter1 sponsored me. That was the biggest blast and looking back I was obviously just an immature kid but someone saw something and gave me a chance to do some cool stuff.
The point I am getting at here is that you need to chill, be patient and wait for your opportunities. There are a few organizations on AA that allow players as young as you with a parent at the field or once they have signed a waiver.. Just tough it out and be a good sport and try to be as mature as possible but have fun. Someone will pick up on this and probably give you a hand up. One thing I remember that sucked about being your age was the Cash flow, it's just not there, so picking up high speed items and gear and stuff can be tough. Obviously you are gonna need rides and such to AO's or meeting places. Get your parents or some older friends to help you out with this.
Being on an airsoft team is not all it cracks up to be sometimes..Just keep all this stuff in mind.
Good luck bud.
