KJW M4 vs. WE HK416?
« on: September 08, 2010, 07:31:01 PM »
I need your guys help to answer this quick question. Okay anyways I have the opportunity to get a KJW m4 I've heard there pretty rare but dont know much about them. On the other hand I can get the hk416 instead. I just need some opinions on which gun is better, outperforms, lasts longer, and is overall better in the longrun. [smilie=armata_pdt_07.gif]  Thanks

KJW HANDS DOWN. Ask most WE owners, they suck! the 416 is not much of an exception.

Pro's and cons? I'd say head over to Arniesairsoft.co.uk and check out the gas section, there are plenty of threads on the WE and a few on the KJW , one in particular is 133 pages.

The WE has the aftermarket support, but why? Because it's trash out of the box and you will need immediate upgrades in order to keep it running.

The KJW doesn't NEED anything to be skirmish ready right away, in fact you can even make a velocity reducer in a few minutes using some washers and o-ring, or make life easier and buy one from http://www.cradleairsoft.com

To give you an idea of the durability of the KJ, check out this thread where Raven1 has documented over a year of harsh abuse on his and it is still kicking.

May i ask where you are getting this KJW from? The guns themselves are not rare, the magazines however are. The platform is popular and KJ is struggling to keep up with demand for magazines, but that should be solved within the coming weeks or month.

Airsplat carries the CQB and M4a1 versions pretty much all the time so you shouldn't have a problem ordering from them. I would err on the safe side and order one from them for about $380($20 more than HK) and avoid any possible customs issues.

Typing this in a haste from my 10in laptop so forgive me...any information you want to know, feel free to PM me and If I don't have an answer I will find it for you.

Heres the thread on AA I was referring to. I have put over 2,000rds in my gun without ANY upgrades running propane at about 550fps and so far almost no problems.

KJW HANDS DOWN.

X2. I had the KJW. I looked at both guns. I would take the WE if someone GAVE it to me..... so I could sell it and buy something that worked.

I ONLY got rid of it because I wanted to go a diffrent direction. Buy it, beat the hell out of it and never look back!!!!

I can actually second that. I ordered mine via wholesale, literally only saved 4 bucks, but somehow when i got it, it came without a mag, airsplat sent a new one within a week!

PM me with what you are looking for and I'll see what I can do.  The prices vary so, there's not much point in getting prices unless you are ready to buy.  Sometimes the prices are better than others but at the least, I can at least beat online retailers.

Ive got connections with Spartan Imports, which was recently bought out by Palco Sports. But I can still get wholesale.

But go with the KJW. I owned the WE PDW, and it wasnt all that great. I had to fix a part after 5 or so uses, but it worked pretty well after that.
