I think chocolate thunda is getting mad/upset that he didnt get the applause he was looking for.  =D>  Feedback is feedback. Dont get mad at what you ask for. You wanted feedback, and you got what you wanted.

My feedback: Good platform for a GBB. But I think you would NEVER be able to pull it off. How would you get the body to build it? How would you create some good internals? Its not like you know how to stamp out a bolt or anything. How would you create the mag? And as for looking for shells around the field after the game, that could be solved by using some sort of box like thing. You just seem like some kid that fell in love with MW2 and made this post after your first round.

As for my feedback on you getting mad: Look around the forum, when some dumb kid posts something retarded or repetetive, the people and mods get mad and annoyed. I had to learn the hard way, I posted something dumb and hard to understand, a mod got mad and I flipped and got yelled at agian. Ill never post something dumb agian. At least not knowingly.

In conclusion, dont freak out, and your blueprints will never get past pen and paper.

You people need to work on how you criticize people, the way I read your posts sounds like your insulting me.
The ironic thing there is, you're criticizing how people are criticizing you.

True that...people play MW and then just assume they know everything there is to know about guns. Those are the people who think the AK is actually accurate and the M4 on MW2 is really an M4A1....

I would say you have a lot to work out.  Here's some things to think about.

1. The one thing you have going for you is the AA12 is so plain *cough*ugly*cough* looking if you have some knowledge of fabrication you shouldn't have to much of a problem making a body that looks like it.

2.  You may want to look at existing airsoft shotguns and try to figure out a hack instead of an entirely new platform. Basically take something and make it look like an AA12.  Something cheap like this http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=5903 .

3.  It's gonna be next to impossible to make a fully automatic airsoft shotgun from scratch, with limited knowledge, and without a good machine shop.  To my knowledge there isn't even a semi automatic airsoft shotgun out that you could reference (I could be wrong).

4.  In theory as a skirmish gun, an AA12 airsoft gun would be something i wouldn't want to take on.  But as everyone else has said, picking up your $20+ a pop gas shell (that probably wouldn't work very well after they landed in the dirt) is something you don't wanna do.  Nothing annoys me more than some idiot who purposely drops their airsoft magazines during reloading (p.s. if that's you its called a dump pouch and some practice folks), then spends an hour between games trying to find them.  Think about 20 or 30 little shells scatted where ever you shoot.  Unless you wanna walk around with a stupid looking shell catcher ruining the feng shui of the gun you spent all that time designing and building.

If i was you, honestly i would wait.  I'm pretty sure it won't be long till there is an AA12 on the market. As MLA so softly put it "You just seem like some kid that fell in love with MW2 and made this post after your first round."... does make a point. It is a MW2 gun, it was on future weapons, so that means people will want one for airsoft.

I'm pretty sure there are a few gas-powered semi-auto shotties out there. Expensive but that'd be pretty beast on the field

I've yet to see one on any website, as I've searched before for novelty use. Unfortunately, they would be very expensive if you did find one. Especially one that is capable of expelling spent cartridges.

Maruzen makes the m1100; that is a gas powered semi auto shotgun. It is expensive and my understanding is that it is NOT a beast on the field.

Unless by beast you mean it's impossible to control and make cycle reliably.  :p

Mine's been in parts for ages.  That said, I wouldn't call it expensive by any means.
