scopes, acogs,red dots, reflex sights
« on: October 02, 2010, 11:12:52 AM »
So I'm shopping around for a new aeg and found the KWA SR12.

Now looking at optics for the KWA and I can seem to figure out what I want. So I'm asking around. I don't really want to put a large telescopic scope on it seeing as the gun is already pretty heavy.

I like the idea of having. A reflex sight on it but I am not sure how effective they are.

So if anyone has any suggestions let me know.

As far as airsoft is concerned, a reflex/red dot type of sight is all that is reasonable for actually aiming. Anything over 2 or 3x zoom is overkill. Very nice for spotting though. lol.

Those $25 4-reticle multi-brightness reflex sights on ehobby are nice and quite effective.

Red dot and an add on magnifier. Best of both worlds.
