newest toy. Latest incarnation with sling and magazine ext..

Remington 700sps tactical .308
Millet TRS-1, 4-16x50
US Optics +20moa Picatinny rail
Warn Med rings
Choate Tactical stock
Harris bipod
All for around $1200. I pieced it together.
Bore and action has been treated with Smoth Kote.  This stuff is awesome I highly recommend it for all your firearms.
TAB GEAR Elite sling and "Tacticles" from Rifles Only.



The rifle is shooting very well.  Shooting Black Hills .175gr BTHP match at 2550fps and getting sub .5 MOA groupings at 100.  I am working on Dope for 100-500 verified.  I will hopefully be able to verify out to 1000 after course in April..

The tactical length barrel and the sunshade make the scope look larger than it is.  Love the stock Ross, you were right, those are very sweet.  Can't wait to see it once you have the cheek riser and....paint it.   :D

Ross, here are the ballistics on the 300 RUM I shoot:

Drop down the menu and click on 300 Remington Ultra Magnum.  I usually shoot the Power level II cartridges, Core Lokt Ultras or Scirocco Bonded.  Zero at 150 yds.  Velocity for 180 gr. at 500 yds is 1902 and 2116 ft/sec and 1445 and 1790 ft-lbs respectively.  Something like that.

Dragon cloth, very stylish. The gun however is a beast. Highly accurate, portable, and sweet camo job. I like!  =D>
