Airsoft GI g4-a3 dmr: yes or no?

Pretty good, i would go with a KWA M16 though, WAY worth the extra 100 bucks, way better in every single way.

Well, except for price.

Oh, and parts compatibility, should something horrible go wrong and frag the gearbox... have to get a new one just like it.

I already bought the gun a few monthsago and put well over 2,000 bbs through it with out a problem. I wanted to get some other opinions about the gun.

i got the gi g4-a3 dmr a while back, put through over 5,000 now and it is great! love the accuracy and range
i just need to get a scope

I love the G4 series I bought the PWS model and it so much fun to play with. My friend bough the G4-18 Carbine and also loves it and hasn't had a problem. All of the models have the same gearbox so other than fps and range they should perform the same.

The G4's are just G&G Combat Machines with different accessories.  That's not necessarily a bad thing, but people keep asking about them like they expect to here ASGI sprinkled them with pixie dust or something.
