AK Rear Sight Wobble

I recently bought an echo 1 red star akm, and the rear sight on it had absolutely no movement whatsoever when I bought it. After a game though, it started to wobble constantly, and I can't really see anything wrong with it. Has anybody had this happen to them before, and if so, can it be fixed? Thanks

Best fix... rail and a red-dot.

Not a particularly good way to fix it, but there is A way that I know of. See the part where it actually mounts to the receiver? the hinge? Yeah, take a big friggin pair of pliers and squeeze that in towards the sight until it's as tight as you want it.

the gun's in front of you, not me. :p

if it's staying on there, it's probably just gotten bent out of shape by snagging the rear sight on something and it getting pulled to the side.

first off,
 push the site (wobbley thing) downward and tward the rear stock it should pop off of the gun.

then ull see theres a ( shaped spring under the site. and it go's under a lip on the rear of the site housing on the gun, what you want to do is tap the lip that holds the ( shaped peice of metal in there, downward because it is bending upward from the stress of someone pulling the rear site in an awkward direction.. lol

ull see what im talking about when you get the site off of the gun. just take the site apart and inspect the part the site pops into, i cant explane it for crap. its only 2 peices should be pretty easy.

then reasemble it, ull notice it will be alot harder to pop the site back in there, when you get it poped in it will be tight again.

Well, it happened again, and this time the lip just broke off. Thanks for the advice everyone, but I'm just sticking to holosights from now on.

Hey, I was just wondering, what are best red dots/holosights/scopes for an akm? Just in general, which types sights work for the ak's iron sights?
