I remind you that you should always check your contract over at the MEPS before you are issued tickets. Remember, no pen marks or talking will get you that PFC promotion you have been promised... if that is the case. Otherwise, enjoy.

When you pull your mask you'll have to scream your "Platoon Ditty" and dont be a pussy. Scream that shit loud and proud. besides the gas chamber will clean out the recruit crud.

Recruiters dont have anything to do with your final contract at MEPS. The Guidence Counselor at MEPS writes the cotract. And (unless your retarded and dont understand english) explains page by page line by line what your promised and what your not.

The DD Form 1966 page 4 has the remarks area used for the advancment in rank. If its not on there as well as the DD Form 4 page 1 (Clearly stating E-2, E-3 or E02, E03 ect) then you wont be more then an E-1.

UPDATE:

USMC Liaison SSGT. White has officially confirmed that i am to go into the 0300 field, Infantry. I am to report to MEPS Monday morning and to stand by until I am instructed to take the shuttle to Sky Harbor International and then I will be on my way to MCRD San Diego. I wish to do my best to serve this nation, and to carry on the legacy of the Corps. by any means I hope this makes me a better person overall.

It has been on honor to have played airsoft with you AA members!

Im not gonna give you bunch of advice or inspiring words. Just do your best, and don't be a pussy.

0545 at MEPS don't be late. You should fly around 1200. You'll sit at the USO till its dark.  Take the bus around the airport with your head between your legs and then you'll be on the yellow footprints.

the strange thing is i might have seen this kid on the depot in the receiving area on that monday.  I worked night shift that night.

On the topic of the gas chamber, a majority of us had upper respiratory infections, pneumonia, you name it. All the mucus and goo coming out cleared me out. I went in the chamber with a fever of 102 or 103, that night I was sleeping like a baby, no more crap in my lungs. Best instant cure for respiratory infections, as crazy as that sounds.

the same thing happened to me with the gas chamber. i wish they offered it as a medical prescription. but knowing how cheap the marine corps it will never happen. you just have to wait for your annual recertification.

I just arrived to my fleet unit a few days ago, I'm part of 3/3 India Co. 2nd PLT, and so far all of the team leaders are teaching us boots a lot of good stuff on all the patrols and how the AO breakdown works per unit along with how a successful Raid patrol is a 11's wet dream.
