Recommend a SBR!
« on: February 23, 2011, 01:43:41 AM »
I looked at a friend's Robinson XCR and it looks quite nice...I'm eyeing the XCR-L Mini...a little pricey, though.  I could just get another upper for my DPMS A15 and register that instead, but I wouldn't mind selling it and trying something new (plus an XCR would be much easier to clean...I hate cleaning AR's).

Any other suggestions? Preferably 5.56mm but I'd consider something else.

You are not giving a lot of informations. If you like the AR style, and price is a I would recommend getting a piston upper, or get a short DI upper and have it coated in nickle boron to make cleaning super easy. There a lot of options though and if you wanted to branch of of the Ar platform check out the Arsenal 106cr, cut down the barrel and you have a 5.56 AK SBR. Like I said there are a lot of options so have fun with it.

I have an LMT Mk18 with an AAC M4-2000.

I like it.
