Blowback is more realistic, therefore, more cool. NBB doesn't use as much gas.

I've handled both and to my experience NBB is more accurate, powerful, and more efficient. Although GBB is much more fun to play with and has a more badass feeling to it. Therefore I prefer GBB because it's fun but if you're looking for performance go with NBB.

I've got to agree. I've got a HFC M9 GBB and a Y&P USP NBB. The NBB shoots faster, is more accurate, and more gas eficient. But, the GBB is way cooler to me. It is more fun too.

NBBs are normally more reliable since there aren't nearly as many moving parts and they use less gas (as said before). GBBs are normally more fun to shoot and to use as well as they normally hold more rounds per mag since alot of NBBs are single stacked. o yea, GBBs are normally more expensive.

i wonder how many times i used the word "normally" in this post...

For what its worth, I found GBB tend to be easier to work on than NBB.  Easier to get into it to clean or check it out.  NBB tend to be much higher FPS.

If you compare a quality GBB to a quality NBB the only difference really is the NBB will always have a higher velocity and the GBB has a moving slide/bolt which is REALLY fun. Beyond that there isn't too much of a difference.

EDIT: Damn, didn't see the date on the topic.

There is nothing like the feeling of pulling out two gbb pistols and just blasting away at your target... very satisfying, GBB all the way

gbb
pro:
looks/feels cool when shooting (more realistic)
short trigger pull
easy field strip down
upgradeable
con:
uses alot of gas
more parts to break
as soon as they get dirty they are just weights in the holster and when they do get dirty you have to tear the whole gun down to get it clean. (pick a good holster, cause it sux when you drop them in the sand.)

nbb
pro:
uses less gas
higher fps
internals dont get as dirty in desert enviroment
with a suppressor on them, they are dead quite
con:
full pull on the trigger every time
not many upgrades for them
hold less ammo

if i missed anything let me know and i can add it to the list.

Well I have a NBB TM MK23 socom and its the best sidearm Ive ever owned.  I have owned 3 GBB and none of them even came close to compare to it. If your going to be using the gun alot then go NBB if your using it as a plinker and indoor games go for GBB. Also I am not sure where this mis-conception came from that NBB hold less ammo, my MK23 mags are double stack nd hold 25 rounds, and also I can shoot 2-3 mags with one charge of gas. I will agree that with the suppressor attached it is super silent. Check out my review in the review section on the MK23.
