Their new 'class' system greatly resembles multiplayer on Killzone 3. I like the idea of having a widely recognized, organized host for seasonal team competitions, but I think they're butchering the game a little too much. What's next, auto-turrets and invisibility for snipers?

and really... honestly what the hell will this "association" actually do for your team??

they give you a number a rank and take your money.. if everyone wants to prove they are the best then hit ALL of the games and kick ass make yourself known by a real reputation.

Don't worry, James.  This is just paintball/speedball oozing its way into our hobby.  I, for one, welcome our new overlords!  :D

I have to agree with my team mate, James. the reason i wanted to do Airsoft over paint ball was the MilSim aspect of the game. if i wanted to play a sport i would go back to baseball... i think it is a bad idea to govern the teams in AZ.

-exactly. I hope we can enjoy this game for the hobby it is. Free pickup games, no "win at all cost" mentality, no governing body\Little Hitlers.

Although this may seem to make airsofting more like paintball, it would probably be good for developing teamwork and cohesiveness apart from MilSim.

It seems pointless to have here, there already exists an airsoft community which provides all the functions they tout. Airsoft in Arizona will be fine without them.

Oh you mean like basketball? Lol I don't want money involved in airsoft associations basically some guy is telling you what you are worth.. unless you can sign me for a contract like James lebron ... But yeah we could get all political too and strong arm all the games.. or competitions... We could have a "yankees" of our own!

Myself, I'd prefer an airsoft Oakland Raiders kinda thanng.
Let's tell the "association" to pay US or F-off.
