Sniper's are over rated in this sport. But thats my opinion.

Fun to shoot in the backyard or at cans when camping but for how well they do in the game at least in my experience they kind of are pointless unless you have an SR25 varient thats upgraded. With that said, being able to put real steal parts on these rifles make it interesting and make them a lot more collectable.

im used to playing large woodland games back in NY and snipers always played a large part.  i have a CA AR10 that i use as a DMR and i love the sniper role as well as my major role as a support gunner with my 249.

True snipers play more of a recon role.  The recon is short for reconnaissance.  I would rather have a sniper which gives me enemy positions and movement then one who can kill enemies with a semi-auto weapon.  We have riflemen and gunners for that.
