G&G FN2000 and its mags
« on: September 05, 2012, 12:53:30 PM »
I was recently looking into purchasing a G&G FN200, however a friend of mine told me that they only accept G&G M4 midcaps. If true, what differentiates the G&G midcaps from other midcaps to make it so that only they fit in the FN2000? Is it possible to mod my FN2000 to make it accept other M4 midcaps? Thanks

I would check around to see if that is true. I only say that because the real steel takes a m4 mag. And most that I have seen take normal m4 mags.

The f2000 takes hicaps well and all but CRAZYNCMAN did a video where some midcaps dont fit because of the plastic "bar" i guess, the thing right behind the spring for the feeding mechanism can bee to long and interfere with use, all you do is sand it down and they work. ive held the f200 and its a solid gun, only prob for me is difficulty of finding repair parts in the long run.

this link might help you with what your looking for, it shows how/where to mod mags(if you want to do that sort of thing) to make them work better.

I've sold an FN2000, need to be very careful with semi-auto, the arm that reaches back to engage semi can become dislodged or broken. You'll deff get the claw hand, and it gets tiresome to hug all the time. Besides that, its compact, easily switchable between both hands, and you can stick a 5.09 TBB barrel without adding too much to your barrel length.

I'm switching out the default hand guard with a tac rail and adding a fore grip, so maybe that will help me a bit :V
