I've done it a few times on the shorty.  But the Maruzen's are quite a bit different than the Marushin/ACM ones.

I would think that the marushin can handle regular use. I know for sure the ACM cant even handle that. Breakage within 5 pumps on some that i've seen XD. Also those .2 gram bb's would have 0 accuracy in the version im looking at getting. 8MM classic. I dont see many people running around with those. I'ts really a shame not many companies produce good, interesting, or innovative shotguns. I want more gas propelled multi shots or shell ejectors on the market.

The Maruzens do work and are fairly reliable.  The downside is gas usage and keeping track of the shells.

The Tanaka's were awesome.  So awesome the ATF shut that down.

I really like my Marushin 8mm M500. Think it's a pretty neat replica though it shoots pretty hot.

yeah, i switch from paper to cardboard between every review but i decided on the box because well it traps all bbs that penetrate through the first layer (takes about 310 fps) and usually they dont exit the box.

Very true. Still, a length of cloth (really any kind, but surgical drape is both available and extremely tough) that is suspended perpendicular to a box would catch BBs very well. It avoids a backyard full of BBs and gives you the ability to use a paper target to truly test the accuracy of a gun.

8mm bb's are so much scarier than 6mm thats for sure.
