Irregular pitch springs?
« on: June 04, 2015, 01:33:57 PM »
Looking to start teching very shortly (I have a work bench and everything set up) I feel I have a gods knowledge of v2 and v3 gearboxes to start basic teching but there's one thing I still don't know. What does it mean when a spring is shown as irregular pitch?

Its the 'Melded" springs you need to watch. Like 800fps lol

They are exactly what they sound like, Irregular pitch, this is where sections of the coils choke tighter to create an irregular pitch, this allows for less gearbox wear, more consistent fps and less energy consumption
