That is why before i do anything with any harddrive, i put it on a CD. It NEVER hurts to have a hardcopy of your work.

I've had so many hard drives die on me that I never feel like my data is safe. I always have tons of backups of my stuff. First, I mirror my important files on multiple computers/drives (I have three on my desk with 5 hard drives between them). Second, I burn bimonthly(-ish) dvd backups of everything.

Although, I guess hindsight is 20/20, huh?  ;)

Well To make a long story short..I partitioned 2 backup hard drives of mine that have ALOT of VERY important data on them(No not porn you sick people). But I need to get atleast some of this data back. Does anyone know someone who has the equipment or can steer me in the direction where I can get some serious help?

With that kind of money invested, don't you have a back up tape drive?  Sounds to me that you should be upgrading your system from a pc to a server?
