Mine has worn in pretty well.  I should've taken a picture of the right side, it looks better...

Looks good Matt, I was going for the same effect as you did, combining the woodland and desert looks into one paint scheme.

It wasnt that hard, i just stripped the gun down entirely and gave it thin coats of OD Krylon paint.  The worst part was i did it when it was windy and about 56 degrees out about a month ago.

I'm not going to paint mine when I get It. I plan on buying a desert stock and for grip some time after I get it.

Since everyones showing the paint jobs, and almost everyone saw the downright horrible one I did, I'll post the new paint job on the new forums..

Yet again, pics with the cell hone cam.

I say it's way better than the first paint job.. I got lucky, I expected it to be downright horrible. And yeah, everyone was right.. only Krylon.. :-P

Raith, yours looks bada**. And LongTrain, the m24's pretty cool.

The M9 is just perfectly painted, it looks almost natural.

is that a stock m4 plastic body? I heard that having too much front weight puts stress on the body is that true from your experience?

Well its a classic army metal body and it seems to hold up just fine, and its an all metal M203... I wouldnt suggest putting a 203 on a stock TM due to the weight.

I have like 8 cans of every color. Let me know what you need. I added some brown to my m4 yesterday. Looks better but I dont have a cam to take pics with.
