It's not bad that he revived a topic.

It IS bad form to revive a topic without adding anything, however.

Well,  Since he revived it I would like to put in an update of how this gun looks now.
Here she is.

So far I have put on a CA metal body, CA hop-up, and a bipod.  Everything else is the same as it was before.  Although the fps has dropped a little I don't know exactly where, but this is just from use.

Very nice.

A regular old A2 with carry handle or ACOG and a PAQ4 would be cool, too!

I've was considering getting an M16A2 with full length rail and M203 to match my issue weapon.

However, it is heavy as hell, the airsoft equivalent would be very expensive, and we are probably getting M4s soon anyway.  So, I think I've decided on an SPR for my next gat. ;)

It was between a G&P SPR/A and a G&P SR-25 for me, sarge, and I went with the SR-25...will be here in time for OP: Dark Harvest, I hope. I've handled the SPR/A and I think that if you got one, you wouldn't be disappointed.

The SR25 is too much gun for me considering how I'd use it.

I'm not a sniper, and I just could not bring myself to carry such a large rifle for the rifleman role.  Very VERY cool, but huge, very costly, and not very practical.  I've seen Nates SPR and it's very nice!

If needed, I could take the SPR into a house.  Not much different than an A2 dimension-wise.

However, for those who scoff at a sniper in possesion of one of these: may they reap the consequences of their ignorance (on the battle field)

A very nice gun, I love it. Although like sarge I'm not a sniper either.
