I ended up responding to microsoft w/ almost an essay about their "leetspeek" and how wrong they were on so many parts of it :)  The best part was I used 100% "leetspeak" and translated it for them so they wouldn't be confused :P

I have a friend that turned in an entire essay for class in leetspeak. He turned in another copy that was regular text, so he still got credit. He never got any word for the prof what they did with the leetspeak version.
