I found my Problem
« on: September 21, 2005, 09:51:27 PM »
For all those who were are the JoMax game, i had been having trouble with my Fuses blowing on my TM MP5. Well i remmemberd that i purchased a 30 AMP High Discharge rate 8.4v 11 Mah battery! I'm still curious though, what advantage does this battery have if it blows fuses? is it designed for a larger motor? Thanks,

More amperage means more discharge...you basicly get more flowing at a time and less "wearing down". You will drain your battery faster but you get more juice so you will be able to turn over harder springs faster than with the same battery with a lower discharge rating.

So using it won't burn up my motor? or do i need to put a heavier spring in before using this battery, because it was blowith my 1 amp fuses like they were threads!

Just dump the fuse all together. It is completely useless, snap the two connections where you put the fuse together and get some electrical tape.

id get a stronger spring so the power out put wasnt too much for the gear box, a stronger spring would even things out.

This is what i have done to it allready

PDI 150% Spring
Systema Aluminum Piston Head
Systema Reinforced Air Seal Nozzle
Systema Metal Bushings Set

What spring should i put into it to conpensate for the torque? Putting a harder spring should make it shoot harder too right? thanks,

THat is enough. Leave it there...the discharge rate just helps turn it over faster after the first time.. You will be fine.
