Florence location info
« on: July 03, 2005, 10:03:57 PM »
I don't know if anyone cares, but the location is technically called the "Ashurst-Hayden Dam".

You can read some of it's history in this PDF:

http://gilariver.com/lessons/sancarloslesson31.pdf

A few of the other lesson plans on that site have info about it too. I've been trying to find info on exactly what those buildings were used for, and who exactly owns the land they're on.

Dam! (pun intended)
That place is just about as old as sasco!

Except its not a federal offence to clamber around in the ruins.
