In my opinion....It shouldn't be any other branch putting in/covering/supporting any other branch...Don't send the air force to give close air support to marines unless its absolutely needed. Hence why every branch now has their own air units.
Take the 160th SOAR for example, one of the best helo units around right?

Each branch specializes in a certain aspect of war out of necessity. The whole idea behind "joint operations" is to cover each other's needs and weaknesses. As you hinted at, though, the biggest problem is integrating everything into one smooth-operating machine.
Exactly, it's not that I wouldn't trust a brother in blue, but id rather have one of my bro's that I know(or atleast know is wearing the same uniform as me) is covering my 6.

If you go back to those websites and books that you get your info from (notice I did not mention any first-hand knowledge!), you will discover that many of the units that have accomplished the most difficult mission in history have been joint operations.
Your opinion is fine, but leave it at that, and understand that know one cares what a 16 year old kid thinks about how the military is run.

Actually, I have a theory that lead is really an acount set up by the MODS so they can all give us a hard time, because no one has ever met him at a game, at least to the best of my knowledge. (This would explain why Christian has never deleted any of his posts...)

He does not come to local AZ games because they are hundreds of miles away from his home in CA. I have met him in person, and he is, indeed, a real person. When was the last time YOU went to a national OP?
