Florence site
« on: September 05, 2005, 08:18:29 PM »
So what's up with Florence site? Can we not play there anymore? I was actually wanting to shoot a short film out there this year, using airsofters all geared up.

As far as I know, the Florence AO is A-OK. (yuk)

I think it'll pick up again when the temperatures go down some. It's too neat to pass up.

Has a cleaning party already been chosen?

If not - when it starts to cool down - I'd be interested in going down there and making it cleaner.

I haven't heard anything about can or can not use.  But the site does need to be cleaned up, there are a lot of trip hazards and foots hazards (nails through boards, etc.)

I really like that AO because it is central to Phoenix and Tucson. It is great because we can get people from both areas to play. It is also just an awesome place in general.

Yeah if you guys run games in that area let me know.  I live like 45 minutes from there, and would be able to attend.

Sorry to revive an old topic, but where IS this place? Could someone give me directions or something?  Am I correct in understanding that there's old buildings and such?

Thanks

I hate to break it to you there PAL, but the temp has already COOLED down, any much more cooler, and it will them be too cold to play.
Why not stop talking about it?
Hinds is out of the loop now, so why not run a game yourself/ Step up to the plate. Go in for the big kill.

Remember, dont talk here, do it.

Hmmmmmm, glasses on! Indeed! September, not exactly months ago.
Well its still valid! He has said to me many times he could run a good game in Florence, so he should quit talking and do it.

PS--The Florence A/O is east of Florence, down a mostly dirt road, way back in the sticks. Has a few buildings, hills, good for CQB.
