The Cure For The Common Mac 11
« on: June 13, 2005, 12:01:47 AM »
I recently discovered this, :P , while working on my gun late at night. I thought the cure was more silicone in it's vital spots, but I was sadly mistaken. The more lube the more clogged and oily the gun is. The cure is exactly the opposite. Less lube on the gun helps it to perform better. In the Mac's case, a little lube goes a long way. Next time your cleaning your Mac, think about this and give it a try.

Is the mac 11 gas gun a good quality piece?  A buddy of mine has one he wants to sell me, and am wondering about it.

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a
pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him. Pirates never were very smart.

yep, I bought it..the rate of fire is incredible!  I need 3 more spare mags.  What is the best site or person to buy spares for it?

It is all metal, so I am assuming its a KWA.  (I got no manuals or anything with it)

I found that the local Jungletoy had the best deal. Plus, they tested them out for leaks, too.

Airsoft Atlanta is a good buy online.

ebay has some mags sometimes.

The best thing I ever did to my Mac was light sanding to almost all the parts that make contact with eachother.

Sorry if I'm reviving a dead thread, I'm new and trying to get enough posts to make my own threads.

I got a KWA Mac 11 and it is acting up on me.  Sometimes the mag will store gas and sometimes it won't.  What is  the problem.

O-ring. Like every other Gas mag in the world. Take it apart. Seal it up with some Silicone and it won't bother you again.

PS Head over to the "Introduce youself" section and tell us about yourself.

Hey what kind of gas do you use through your Mac 11. Im using green gas and its realy strong. Its way stronger than any of my AEGs. It will go trough a pop can and almost break through the other side. None of my AEG's can do that. Is it because of the gas?
