I have a couple, and both were about the cost of a used Korean economy car with decent mileage.

you mean BDUs? Use the search at the top...OR go to a surplus store and/or http://www.bdu.com. Look around, stop being lazy.

if u wanna play just get your cronies (friends) into airsoft, and play out in remote desert or a place where the cops cant see you, thats what we do.

why exactly did you post this topic in the spring gun section? i mean its for an aeg. and there is an aeg section, so why not post it there?

the utg aeg's might fit your price range. there are some of the smaller aeg's such as the TM MP-7 and MP-5k that you can find around 200 bucks. seeing as how your 14 and in pheonix it will be hard to find games to go to.(Thank god for TAC)

hope i helped.

Fps means nothing in terms of reliability, construction or general well functioning of a gun. People just dont get it, unless you are in the buisness, you can't cut corners and still get a good aeg. If you want a good gun for skirmishing in national ops you need not only a $350-$400 gun you need $100+ in good mags, at least $150 in gear(boots, bdus, LBVs and the like).  The good benchmark of 700-800 for an initial investment is high, but by no means unobtainable if you want to do things right.

Dont do what i did and buy that Matrix made AK47.  I mean, it's not TOO bad, but saving for a gun that is better overall is worth it.  I figured i could buy the AK now, and save up for upgrades later.  Hard to find the parts, and need to start out finding a Ver III for AK... the one my gun is plastic   :?

funkylover, you need to browse around the forums (and other airsoft forums as well) and not post so much.  Many of your questions can probably be answered by using the search function and even Google.  Become informed by just reading the forums for a while.  Like you said, you will need to wait a while before you can play in the "good games".  Many players here have posted very helpful advice and opinions that you should use to help guide yourself through your growth as an airsoft player.
In the mean time, look around and read what other, more experienced players have to write about.  If anyone else has some advice for you, they are welcome to PM you.  See you around!
