That test sucks. And I AM an HK supporter. I fired about 450rds through mine on saturday, and I had a FTF midway through. But just one.

Edit to add: it's a USPC .45.

I have 3k through my G19, and have only had 1FTE, and that was in Ian's hands, while limp wristing with a Emo bracelet and homo gloves.

It could be the ammo. My buddies 40 will not run hydro shocks or federals in his USP full size, but it run some of the cheapeist sh@t around.
My USP 9 has never failed me or my wife with thousands of rounds through it as well.

450 rounds/2 = 225 rounds per failure.  I'm not impressed.

I put CASES of ammo through my 1911 after I replaced the extractor with a Wilson Combat and never had one problem.  In the end, it had upwards of 2,000 rounds through it.  (So little because I only had it for a few months).

Ammo problem?  Sounds like making excuses for a sub-par handgun.  I put everything from Wolf, CCI Blazer BRASS, Winchester, Remington, and some old stuff of D-Bos through that pig and it fired it all.  It would go "BANG" with everything from low-end (Wolf) to high-quality (SPEER Gold Dot).

Nate, you seem to be a fan of your HK, but do you like the company?

I never said I was impressed either. Also, it was with Wolf, which isn't as good as the brass rounds.

I love my handgun. I know I'm good with it. And I've HEARD alot about the company, but not enough to judge. If I knew the info (Psst.. PM me some details on it..) then I might be upset that it's an HK, but I'd still love it. Sort of like an orfan child.

Also, on the rounds I counted, I haven't cleaned it. Add another 100 from the shoot before and however many Dave fired if any before I got it.

I cleaned my 1911 twice.  Once when I got it, then again when I sold it.

Never in between, although I did squirt some CLP in the slide once in awhile.

The ammo excuse doesn't work for Glock owners.   :P
