That test sucks. And I AM an HK supporter. I fired about 450rds through mine on saturday, and I had a FTF midway through. But just one.
Edit to add: it's a USPC .45.
450 rounds/2 = 225 rounds per failure. I'm not impressed.
I put CASES of ammo through my 1911 after I replaced the extractor with a Wilson Combat and never had one problem. In the end, it had upwards of 2,000 rounds through it. (So little because I only had it for a few months).
Ammo problem? Sounds like making excuses for a sub-par handgun. I put everything from Wolf, CCI Blazer BRASS, Winchester, Remington, and some old stuff of D-Bos through that pig and it fired it all. It would go "BANG" with everything from low-end (Wolf) to high-quality (SPEER Gold Dot).
Nate, you seem to be a fan of your HK, but do you like the company?
