questions for the CA CQB
« on: April 09, 2006, 12:18:59 PM »
I have some questions about the CA M15A4 CQB

- does the XM-203 Grenade Launcher Long Version fit on the gun

- would I be able to put a M120 and precision barrel without any modifications

- would I be able to squeeze a 9.6 1200 mah nun chuck battery in the stock

Thanks u for any replies

You could probably get one of the non rail mounted M203s to fit on a CA CQB barrel, but the front collar would probably completely miss the barrel and flashhider.  A rail mounted M203 could probably fit.  Any M203 with the 12" barrel (Long version) is going to stick past the barrel of the AEG.

Shouldn't be any different than any other version 2 gearbox, so yeah.

Basically no.  The CA Crane stock would not accept a nunchuck style cell arrangement.

I appologize for my earlier statment. I thought that this was a post put out by someone I knew and did not realize that it was indeed a serious inquiry.

Still the questions are funny but if they are indeed genuine questions, we've all started there.

#1 The XM203 madbull launcher would mount on the gun but would stick out as far or a little longer than the barrel.

#2 Num chuck batteries dont fit, you have to get a special "crane stock" battery that is designed for the stock.  They do have 9.6v 1200mah ones though and even better ones too.

#3 They do make precision barrels for this gun and its internals will handle a m120 spring, but unless you have lots of experience doing upgrades, I would not reccomend doing it yourself.  Just get it upgraded when you buy the gun.

The M15A4 CQB is an awesome gun, works well and shoots stock @ 350fps and with a 9.6v 3300mAh battery in the stock will shoot 900 rounds per minute.  I really like the one my friend has, works well.

Thanks alot for all the info to sdobbins and Raith. MAD its cool. I mostly wanted to know about the grenade launcher cause I really like it and I dont want it to stick past the barrel. For the upgrades I'm going to Jungle Toy.    Thanks

If you get the short version of the XM203 or a RIS M203 Shorty it should be shorter than the barrel.
