It will increase your velocity, but not by much(maybe 10 FPS).

well i'm not sure but with a tight barrel like the 6.03 don't bb's shave off on it that is one reason you have to clean them so much? i'm not sure entirerly i heard it somewere. but how much of a diffrence does a tighter barrel make i've never seen the diffrnec bc i leave my barrels stock for now.

Just want to make sure, in the product discriptions when it says it will fit M16 A2 it would also fit a M15, right?

Go with the Prometheus 6.03...they are harder on the Rockwell scale (harder, and will stay truer) and have a slightly higher outer diameter (along with a decent crater cut for a nice sound).

You have to clean them a lot because gunk builds no matter what, dirt and grime and other stuff, but instead of being a .09mm gap like on your stock 6.08 barrel, it's a .04mm gap, which means there's a lot less room, and that means the more gunk, the more the bb will be affected.

Don't go below 6.03 because it'd be stupid. Just don't use shitty BBs and there won't be any problems.

P.S. I have no idea what kind of BB would "shave off" in the barrel.

That would be a big fuckin' bb.

if the hop isn't properly setup, I guess the opening around the beginning of the barrel could chip the bb's slightly?

That would be more like a nozzle problem, blowing the BBs down into the lip of the barrel, maybe. I mean, even with the hop all the way on I don't think that could happen.

Maybe he was whittling 8mm BBs down into 6mm slugs.

hah, I think you're onto something there... Unless the bb's are crap, no tightbore should be a problem...

No an M16 and an M4 barrel lengths are entirely different.

In terms of it having the same interface with the hop up, yes, but in terms of length, maybe not.  A TM M16A2 should take the same inner barrel length as a CA M15A2/A4 Rifle, but not the shorter CA M15A4 guns, like the SPC, CQB, etc.

Then inner barrels for the TM M16A2 should work fine for you.

Yeah, your right Matt.  M15 is just a CA term, and I keep seeing my M4 when I see that.  You need to know if your gun is an M4, or an M16 variant. And then go from there.
