VFC AK47UN
« on: April 25, 2006, 08:33:42 PM »
So I was debating for a few days on what to get, the CA CQB or the new VFC AK... so today I'm just like "what the hell" and ordered the AK. I know its a sweet gun but not sure about the motor rpm or gears... I would love to put a M130 in it but I'm scared it will break. Btw i ordered it from AEX. So what do you guys think?  8)

An M130 will put you over the 400fps rules for AA games.

Well. I don't know what the AK can handle. You'd have to open it up to find out what kind of gears and other internals are in there before you upgraded the spring. But I know that you could've put an M120 in the CQBR...

Yeah... about the AA rules, I know, I wouldnt play over the limit. But games with  my current group we do more long range games, so I was only wondering if the gun could handle it. Since its a short barrel and all I figured that it would be fine. Btw my M4 has an M120 and shoots 370fps. The CQB is nice but a guy on the team is getting it and plus, I'm kinda bored of the M4/M16 looking series... used them for too long. Thanks for the fast replies.

you should still stay away from the M130, you would need to reenforce most of the gear box i'm sure, ive never seen the VFC AK before, i would stay with like an M120 or an M100 nothing too fancy, but since your 13 i'm not sure if that means you attend many AA games, (i personaly havn't been to many but am starting too) but if you do then i wouldn't go over the limit for that reason too.

Yeah I havent  played a game sponsord by AA, but I have a group here of about 12-15 that airsoft once a week or so.I also play at southwest paintball, but haven't been able too, because of my M4 breaking...also, I was wondering if there is, or going to be, tighbore for the AK.

A tightbore is universal. If it is the length you want, it will fit in any gun. Its just a matter of what kind you want(brand, and type, such as 6.03, 6.04 ect).
