Airsofters in My Region
« on: June 01, 2006, 12:06:40 AM »
Just out of curiosity (and sheer want to create topic 1000 in this forum), I was wondering if anyone here lives around the 75th Ave & Deer Valley (or north of Bell Rd in general) area?  I was hoping I could get some matches rolling in this area.  If anyone's around here feel free to PM me and we can see if we can get anything set up.

You should probally read this.

This is one reason why we don't play close to the valley.  And my recommendation is that you shouldn't either.

Thanks for the heads up.  Fortunately around this area there's enough desert (north of here there's a bit of unused land) to game in private.  But we're still looking for better AOs to game that's not an hour away to drive.

If anyone has some suggestions...

I live right there.  Trust me there is nowhere "legal" to play around that area.  Even if you do find a little open area in a wash somewhere, how fun can that be?? and i highly suggest against it. Just watch for games to be posted here and hed out to one, we usually have AA games in Prescott over the summer.  Once you go you will realize how boring and pathetic your games within the neighborhoods are.

Let me clarify for mav, the area to the north hes talking about is WAY north where one of our teamates parents live and own land.  It's legal to play there, but a hella long drive.  me and mav are in the process of finding another legal field....unfortunatly what used to be a very remote %100 legal to play in desert is now some rich pricks vision of another mundane housing development.  I'm as big a stickler for legality and where to play and where not to play as anyone else but, its hard to find places to set up quick games.  Basicly, we are looking for a legal place that doesn't take hours to drive to where we can practice and play between AA games.

Just to claify "remote" desert with in city limits is still in city limits.  I just dont want to see anyone breaking the law here and giving airsoft a bad name.
