Following the standard rules I always follow:

450fps max with .2g BBs for regular weapons

Sniper rifles can go up to 500fps but MUST be mechanically incapable of firing full-auto

14-16 years old need a full facemask
17 year olds need a partial facemask
18+ need eye protection that is ANSI rated for ballistics

You will need to fill out the Sudden Impact waiver if you have never done so: http://paintballhq.com/PBHQ_2004_Waiver1.pdf

What more did you need to know about the op? The general outline is above, the prep sheets will be online sometime next week which include mission(s) details and objectives.

There is one team that is getting their briefing via private communications, they know who they are (and no one else does....they don't even know their teammates).

equipment loan?
« Reply #155 on: October 15, 2006, 01:50:01 PM »
Okay so my family has this superstition about money and our valuables. I finaly got enough money for my first AEG, but my moms car wasnt havin any of that and decided to crap out on her. Im not mechanically inclined so I cant say what it was, I can tell you it ate up my AEG funds.
if someone would be so cool as to lend a newb an AEG for this event, I would appreciate it.
I dont have any Tan camo, I do own a set of marpat and acu. All of my load bearing equipment was desigend for paintball. I do know an m4/15/16 mag fits perfectly in my camo side pockets.

Let us not forget, there are real troops who face real fear and real bullets, and it is because of them we enjoy the freedom to play the games we play

I'd imagine he could go, but he's going to be real bored sitting in the car all night....

In other words - No Waiver, no play. It's the rules of the field we're playing at.

seeing as i'm a total noob, i would love to go, but i dont know if i have the right gear.  This will be my first "real" game. so is my gear enough? keep in mind my budget is tight because i'm a 15 year old and have to pay for all equitment myself because my parents arnt that into this sort of stuff.

UTG AK-47 Commando AEG Airsoft Rifle
4000 ct kcs bbs
woodland/greenish bdus, boots,
partial facemask, goggle type
40mm red/green dot scope w/ flashlight
2 TM 70 round mags
2 crappy UTG high caps that came with the gun
back up gas gun
and a vest to hold it all :)

anything else i need? *besides a better gun :)*

one thing i can see is that you will need a full facemask. Jungle toy has one i use thats like 15 bucks or so. Oh and since its going to be a rather long scenario, i suggest you bring water onto the field with you.
