« on: June 16, 2006, 11:48:41 AM »
Has anyone heard about these new mags?  Apparently they are a self contained Charging mag for glow in the dark bb's...

Looking for reviews... post em up if you find any

I just read about then last night, they have a blacklight built in to the mag powered by a very small battery. Then the blacklight flashes onto the glow in the dark BBs making them really glow. (I hope thats what you were asking, I'll find a link later)

As I have read the mag replaces the old tracer supressor unit by giving glow in the dark bbs glow from inside the mag, thereby eliminating the need for the supressor light thing. This will make havign tracer rounds easier and cheaper to do, though dont expect everyone to go go out and buy one soon...

Not only is the tracer unit expensive, but it also doesn't fit on some guns, or guns where people wanna keep their original silencer on (if you can't get the unit inside the silencer shell).

So I recieved six of them... they are superb, they turn themselves on when inserted into your gun and you cant see any light..  130 rnd capacity just like regular mids.   kinda pricey at 40-45 a mag but well worth it, seeing how I always find a way to break tracer units at 90 bucks a pop..  now g&p just needs to make em for the g36 and mp5

Do you have to shoot in semi in order for each bb to be exposed to the light long enough or are all the bb's exposed?
