Good deal?
« on: June 20, 2006, 10:36:19 AM »
Im selling my G3 SAS, with full stock. I have an offer for a trade - here's the deal:

My G3 SAS, with CA metal body, upgraded gearbox and shooting 350FPS w/ .25's. Added full stock. add 3 500 round mags

trade: G&G AK (stock) + 50 bucks... - is this a good deal, or should I hold out for the $325 I originally wanted?

need advice.

is it this one http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/produ ... odID=20533

or this one http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/produ ... odID=19103

Ethier way its a good deal, because G&G make excellent guns.

Depends on the shape of the AK I guess...I'll tell you what, if AMSOG didn't choose AR style weapons as a whole, I would have gotten your G3.

its a 104

and i know my opinion doesn't really matter since the AK is mine

but its all what YOU want to do

its ultimately your desicion

some people don't like AK's

so that just my $0.02

get back to me when you make a desicion

it's not that your opinion doesn't matter, or that I dont like AKs'.  I just need other opinions, cause i never had a G&G or opened one up. I want to know the pros and cons.

pros
great fps out of the box
hevy and almost all metal except the handguards
can fit a large battery
has a tightbore because its a G&G

cons
some have minor problems, but G&G acording to Dust2dust will replace what ever brakes within reason
some plastic on them.

From what i have heard G&G does replace gears and stuff, but you have to ask them. Ask Dust becasue  they replaced a part in his.

The newer versions of the older version for G&G are coming around. However, I'd be a little wary of a first gen model G&G..cause, to my knowledge, there hasn't been a second version of their AK yet.

G&G makes awesome external parts tho. That alone makes G&G nothing to sneeze at.
