Over a year ago I tried for a buisness grant offered by my tribe for 100k to open up a paintball/airsoft field. Everything was going well, unfortunately the district in which I planned the field shot down the proposal. The business grant is no longer offered, but I have never given up on the field. In the Northern most district of my reservation is a community called Chuichu. It is about 15 miles off I-10 and about 7 miles South of Casa Grande. I noticed there was an abandoned area perfect for airsoft. I spoke to a representative of that district who seemed very enthusiastic about the project. The rep stated that the community has been considering the space for commercial ventures. Its not a guarentee, give me some feed back and we will see how this goes. (I APOLOGIZE FOR THE OFFENSIVE GRAFFITI)

Here is a pic of me when I was a firefighter/EMT. I am currently working for an ambulance company working towards Paramedic

I smell hope.

It'd be great if the district offered up that land. I'm glad to know there's actualy a good chance of getting a nice field in AZ.

That would be a great field, especially because it has little hills around the buildings to fire into the main area and all the rooms inside the buildings.

If there is anything I can do to help this happen, please drop me a line. Mice thing about a spot like that is when it isn't being used for airsofting, you can probably make some bucks renting it to law enforcement to practice in. I know a bit about that sort of thing so if you need me let me know.

Man, to have a great place to play and not have it be in BFE would be amazing.

That's great because it's so diverse.  You could play with AEGs in the street and taking the buildings, then do another round with pistols/shotguns/springers doing room clearing or something.  So many awesome scenarios...

Why limit room clearing to non-AEGs?

They have whole multi-day OPs devoted to room clearing with AEGs...this would be good practice.

If it would help "sell" the project, I feel fairly assured that we could organize a work party to help clean up the area, maybe clear off some of the grafitti....

Dude.  Holy crap, that would be amazing to play there.  I'm betting if you could get this to happen, you'd be the hero of just about everybody on the boards.  The only thing I think could add to this place would be more cover around the buildings, maybe a few junked cars or something.  Other than that, it looks almost like a small Iraqi town.

And to second what's been said, I'd be more than willing to pitch in fixing this place up and getting it game-ready.

How much are you considering for admission charge?

This looks great, I'm betting that it would roll, depending on the investment needed.

The location seems perfect, between Tucson and Phoenix.  The buildings look in decent shape, considering.  The power lines look intact.

I'd donate time to help this happen.
