Will G&P M16 magazines work with the CA-M15A4 Carbine?

Yeah, and they suck.

Buy Tokyo Marui standards, and nothing else.

What do you not like about them Vince?

I use the G&P mags with my CA M15A4 rifle and they seem to do all right. I lubed them up pretty good to get better performance out of them as well. Only thing is there a few rounds left that wont fire, never used TMs so dont know if that is typical or not though.

I owned four or five and they were terrible.

Some people have said periodic lubing is the ticket. Some say stretching the spring out works. I dunno. For me, why would I subject myself to all this when I can just buy TM standards that work the first time, every time?

You have to break em' in first, but it'll take a while.

A few days late, but that's cool.

The G&P mags blow.  You can do the Spring mod as shown in one of the issues of The NAM, but that doesn't always work.  The problem is, they double stack and then jam up in the mag.  Lubing them works, but then they still jam.

Breaking them in?  Well... I'm not spending $25 on a mag, and have to have countless jams and misfeeds because it has to break in.

I have two of them, both work as long as I load less than 60 rounds in there.  A midcap that only works with 58 or so bbs?  That's bull.

The majority of my mags are star, I have two G&P, and a few marui and CA standards.  The CA work, but if you want something that will never fail (as long as you treat them well), listen to Vince.  The Marui mags are great.

If you want a good midcap, the MAG midcaps are pretty decent, I just got 4 of them, and they didn't jam or misfeed once.

I have 11 G&P 130 round mags. I stretched and straightened the springs out in all of them and then loaded and ran them out 3 or 4 times each before using them in a game. every gret once in a while i'll have to tap on one of them but other than that they work damn good. Never lubed them. Never had to de-burr the spring path.

I've got 20 G&P MP5 mid cap mags and I have never had any issues with them at all, unless you count the one I fell on, and cracked the spot welds..

I use 16 tm standards and i have never had a problem with feeding that was due to the mags. I have had some for 2-3 years and i have never lubed them.  I have also left them loaded for weeks on end and they still work fine.
