Get it 5k' or higher elevation and I might go.

Djmtott, some guys can't handle 100* temps for very long...Unfortunately.

ROFL, I'm one of them!

Most of the time when people talk about differences at varying altitudes the first thing that comes to my mind is gravity, like how the Colorado Rockies can hit more home runs at home.

So at first when I read the post about wanting higher than 5k I was thinking it had something to do with the speed or trajectory of BBs or something like that.

Well, it KIND of does. Like, you'll notice chrono abberations if you ever go to OP:LC, or play in California, since we're so close to sea level here.

Air Pressure and Air Denisity.

The reason why the ball flys further is that the air is less dense and "lighter" than normal air. The same force is still applied to the ball and the force of gravity upon the ball. The only difference is the decrease of resistence due to  the lack of dense air.

While if you got closer the air would be more dense and cause the ball to fly less and fall faster due to increase resistence due to air. In both cases the same force is applied to the ball and the temp is the same. Cold Air creates more resistence and hot air creates less so adjust.

Which is also why that chronos will be thrown off. Depending on altitude, temp., and air pressure the BB's FPS will change from what you chronoed it from home.

Uhh and the higher up you are..the harder it is to breathe..Just incase no one mentioned that...Thats why alot of professional athletes train in higher altitudes..I know alot of boxers do.

Mikeyyyyy Put me as green.
