If you want, like, WWII is cool, but it's expensive, the guns aren't exactly the best (unless you have like, either somethin' SUPER EXPENSIVE or a TM M1A1) and it might look kind of anachronistic in the pictures. Maybe just get a nice, modern gun and some modern gear and then have your WWII stuff on the side, in a distant, almost microscopic second place.

to add onto what vince said, the clothes are expensive too. My buddy was into WWII and he had to pay over $100 dollars for a german top/trousers plus they are usually %100 wool and most of the time cannot be washed, but profesionally drycleaned. I work at a dry cleaners and belive me that gets expensive.

It really comes down to preference, if you have a gun from WWII it would be nice to have matching gear. I think it takes some effort and some cash. I like the uniqe part about it, its more fun when you look different from the group. Plus some WWII airsoft guns are kickass. I think its cool, but you have to really like WWII.

It is expensive, the guns aren't popular and the companies don't seem too interested in improving them because of that, but if it's the road you want to travel, take it.

go all out and make sure your weapons are true to the time, i.e, rifles aren't automatic or semiautomatic...

Ok, after reading what everyone has said, doing non-stop research, and wating old movies (mainly Band of Brothers), I have desided that I'm going to be different and go full blown WWII soldier form the 101st Airborne Division. Now if I can only get a raise at work...
Thanks for all your help guys!

I was just watching Band of Brothers and recalled how bad ass WWII was (weapons-wise). Maybe one day you'll buy a real Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) kit and convert it into an airsoft gun.
