I never knew that three inches was the minimum length for a handgun barrel. I guess all of the anti-gun politicians wont be able to register their penises.

My old m4 never stopped breaking, then my friend bought it and now its fine, the only thing he did was add a different cylender and crane stock with RIS system. but that should'nt affect preformace.

I bought it at Arizona Paintball Depot across the street from Pepboys around Cave Creek road.

My dad is taking the thing back tomorrow to see if he can get  NIB pristinely new gun.  I keep telling him that if they don't have any more to pick up a CA M15A4 RIS.  He said fine.  Then I said make sure to get a low cap..not a high cap and I keep reminding him.  He got pissed.  I don't care..these things aren't cheap enough to simply dismiss a request as ludicrus as mine.

No it's actually a scope problem, not accuracy. Accuracy is fine for a stock gun. The problem is his scope is so badly off of any average impact point, that it's pretty much useless.

I havent owned one of those, but I believe those scopes are pretty cheap. They look very basic and if the barrel is bent at all, I would definatly take it back  [smilie=armata_pdt_07.gif]
I hope you find a gun that works for you.

Bent receiver's/Barrels are pretty common..I had a CA m15a4 RIS for 2 years that laways shot to the left..Because the barrel was bent from the receiver just a TINY bit..messed up all my upgrades..The thing was F*ed up then I sold it to MicrowvableTurtle for nothing and he fixed it.

Alright.

My dad and I started looking at the thing last night and I realized first thing that the barrel had a slightly downward bend of about 2 or 3 degrees that was quite noticeable.

The guys gave me this gun right off the shelf with no manual...

The scope is a terrible design.  The actually scope pops out of the carrying handle with some use of the correct tools to realease the little pressure ring.  The scope is has a plastic body which is absolutely stupid because as you tighten the two screws to adjust its position..they grind into the plastic.  WTF were they thinking...

My dad took apart the whole scope assembly and we looked at it...deciding that it was relatively fine.  Marshall, those clicking sounds we hear while you were adjusting it were you stripping the threads.. good job lol    Can't force machined parts.

So the barrel remains bent down a few degrees and I am unhappy with this thing since the scope will never be able to properly adjust.  If I can I will take it back and get the M15A4 RIS for about the same price.  Maybe I should have just stuck with getting those .29 gram bbs offline for my M324 because frankly...I don't want a gun that requires routine maintenance or the like.

...shit

Why the hell did you buy from a paintball store again? I told you I'd help you pick one off a good site. I hope you can at least get some sort of compensation.

Frankly, I don't see anything they can really do. If the barrel is bent, they will more than likely give you a new barrel, not replace the gun with another. Also, if you have stripped anything or tried to fix/modify it, you will have likely voided whatever warranty you may have had. Like Sarge said, it is a BB gun, they are rarely able to zero on a stock weapon with a stock barrel and a stock scope. Unless you have measured with some kind of instrument, 2 or 3 degrees is quite hard to notice. My suggestion is deal with the slight inaccuracy by compensating while you are shooting. Further, why are you not going down there yourself? I think my generation needs a lesson in advocating for themselves.

Gentleman, I am happy to inform you the situation has been resolved by the excellent staff of Arizona PaintBall Depot.  I apologize for feeding any misgivings about Arizona PaintBall Depot and definitely recommend them if you are looking for CA M15's, MP5s, G36's, AK-47's, or fantastic and curtious customer service.  Again thankyou Arizona PaintBall Depot.
