Tired of your AEG?
« on: August 12, 2006, 11:56:31 PM »
Get that classic feal from you're AEG!! It even offers blowback   Unfortunatly, there is no full auto. Sorry to all you sprayers.

Hot damn!
It's finally been released. A little slow on my behalf, but I hope you find this link rather exciting.

Now all we need is a Ver. III for those AK owners *points to me*

Just like that Rap4 crap, only I like it. If it's not too expensive, I'd go for a version 3 for the AK (if it's ever released). But I'm keeping from getting too excited. The system might turn out to be sh*t.

I never knew that three inches was the minimum length for a handgun barrel. I guess all of the anti-gun politicians wont be able to register their penises.

Also why would you want a semi auto AK, thats like wanting a semi auto SAW, pointless unless you plan to snipe.

It says, right next to it, "upgradable." I would assume this means it can be upgraded to full-auto, not that it can bake cookies or some crap like that.

Eventually it'll be available.

It says next to semi that it's upgradeable.

Hopefully that means inexpecnsive part(s) to convert it to full.

If not, you could always go the do-it-yourself route and file down the hammer catch.

Edit: Too slow.

The reason I like this is because it might just turn out to be more impressive (sound, blowback action, and the feeling of recoil) and more dependable than a normal AEG mechbox.

Having once been a paintball player, I recall that some full-auto systems had small rechargable batteries inside the selector system.

True, but like most new ideas introduced to airsoft, they all have potentional.

IMO, the potential of this particular project is just biting Madbull in the ass.

I'm sure somewhere in the near future they'll figure out what's going down.

Just think though, it's somewhat like the re-introduction of classics to airsoft. This will definitly land a twist on the game of airsoft and may forever change the way we play.

No, we saw this thing at SHOT. The trigger was clunky and it just seemed terrible.

I would be surprised if this sold at all. Having owned a classic and having been told about the functionality of the Model 470 (by Madbull himself), I am seriously underwhelmed.

Well, damn. Maybe someday a better one will come along, if any.

I wonder if it would be consistent (because it runs on gas). Also unless you have a old crappy gearbox, and just want something new,  I wouldn't even consider this.

I'd assume it's as consistant as your regulator, as long as you're using regulated air as supposed to a CO2 powerlet (that would be shitty).
