You're 18, go to an official AA game. It will be a lot more fun, trust me.

If you want to TRAIN and learn something the boot camp will provide it.

If you want to be tactiCOOL like some of these other guys, then just go to AA games once a month.

The people who attended the boot camp will tell you their thoughts an experiences.  Those who did not go simply cannot offer any relevant opinion.

IMHO

It was awesome. In other words the opposite of what cheeze said. Sandbags was a pain in the ass, but I can't complain about exercise. We learned alot about tactics and formations. Completely worth it. And this one has a bonus. In the morning, you get to play in OP Sandstorm, which is going to have 5 military vehicles, a retired Army Brigadier General, IEDs and all kinds of cool stuff. If you don't come to boot camp, at least come to Sandstorm. But really, the tactics you will learn at boot camp seperate the chairsofters from the milsim players.

There is a cost yes.  Did you "pay" for your car, house, airsoft weapons?  Do you pay to go to Irene, LC, etc?

We have a legal field close to town where the park rangers can't boot us out - but you have to pay for the use.

Don't want to pay?  Don't come.  Those who went will say its money well spent.

Prior military and/or LEO with verifiable experience and skill awards.  No big headliners.... yet.....

Its definately not for everyone, and anyone with hesitation or lingering doubts would be better off doing something else.  Otherwise its a waste of everyone's time.

Just wondering about it, good idea for people who haven't been to big ops or had prior training. Good luck with that.
